Harbormen found a way to make the spring season feel as normal as possible

If there’s anyone who deserves a pat on the back and a little time to rest, relax and re-charge right now it’s your local high school athletic director. Things have been different this school year, in some cases very different, but the AD’s were the steady hand that navigated coaches and players alike through four seasons of athletics.
While the spring season looked almost normal with masks off for the most part and fans back in the stands, still fresh in everyone’s minds were the times of the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic when volleyballs were changed out and sanitized after every rally, when everyone wore a mask and when heading a soccer ball was strictly forbidden, going against every instinct a player has had ingrained in their heads since they played in Tiny Tots.

While the Fall 2 season just ended, new Hingham High girls basketball head coach Roland Millien - the former star player from Stoughton - can t wait to roll out the balls once again.
“I’m ready to go right this very second,” Millien said. “I’ve already watched tape of 10 or 15 games from the last couple seasons to see what the program is about and what some of the girls can do. I can’t wait to meet all of the girls and get started with the process.”
