Income Tax (I-T) seaches at the Congress’s Rajya Sabha member Dhiraj Sahu’s residence in Ranchi continued for the seventh day. The I-T officials brought a four-wheeled surveillance machine which roamed all over the ground and at different parts of the residence in the evening to detect money or other assets, if any, hidden beneath the ground. Movement of I-T officials to and from the building in vehicles bearing registration number of Odisha continued throughout the day. On Monday, the I-T officials were also seen knocking on the marbles on the building walls to ascertain if anything was hidden inside or not. They had also inspected a statue of horses installed on the premises. The I-T officials had recovered large number of jewellery and several crores of rupees in cash in the operation conducted here so far. The IT team had started the raid last Wednesday. The building is at present being guarded by the Central Industrial Security Force which is also monitoring movement of people
