A word about the Beaufort County Republican Executive Committee

A recent article explained how political parties are organized in the United States.  All individuals registered by political party have a say in the operations, policies and decisions made by the party they have chosen to become a part of.  Unaffiliated or independent voters do not have this right. Political parties tend to be heavily criticized because those who are knowledgeable of how the system is supposed to work frequently hi-jack it and go in directions the grass roots members oppose.  Most party members choose not to participate because of the bad behavior of some of the leaders.  This allows the bad boys to become even more powerful.

Commissioners vote to keep budget deliberations away from the public

The 2021/22 Beaufort County budget deliberations  begin at  9:00 AM on Thursday and Friday January 28 and 29 at the commissioners meeting room on West Second Street.  Frankie Waters, Jerry Langley, Ed Booth and  John Rebholz voted not to film the two days of meetings for public viewing.  Those who are interested must attend the meeting themselves.  What do these four commissioners have to hide from the public other than their liberal incompetence?  Could it be they intend to raise taxes or build a new jail.  The public has a right to view these meetings in the safety of their homes during this pandemic.

Monumental Issue for Beaufort County, North Carolina and our Republic Goes Unheralded and Unheeded

As a Commissioner for over 20 years now, I am finding that my junior commissioners really do not take their jobs at all seriously, and could be a fine reason why these same commissioners desire that the commissioner meetings, for some, be completely unwatchable.     Or, I could be wrong, and these commissioner try hard, in their own way, to pose some real thought as real county commissioners serving constituencies that truly understand them and appreciate their service. I could be wrong, and they are right about important issues facing Beaufort County citizens, where they far more than I follow the guidance of the true professionals - the bureaucrats - while never taking any positions unless theirs are positions of accommodation to some perceived higher authority . and then I come to my senses, and rightly recognize: I get it, and they don t when we disagree.

Denver officer, case coordinator help man rent apartment

Denver man (and his dog) find a home for the holidays thanks to some friends in blue A Denver officer and a case coordinator helped a man experiencing homelessness rent an apartment ahead of Christmas. Author: Matt Jablow Updated: 6:37 PM MST December 18, 2020 DENVER Jerry Langley is having a much netter holiday season than the one he was expecting just a few months ago. Langley was homeless for most of 2020, living out of his car with his pocket-sized dog in southwest Denver. His wife had died about two years ago, his mother a short time after that, and, though he had some income, he had basically run out of money.

Beaufort County RINO s Team up With Democrats | Beaufort County Now

Conservative Republicans in Beaufort County got another slap in the face at the Monday December 7th Beaufort County commissioners meeting. Predictions during the 2020 campaign proved to be correct. Conservative Republicans had predicted the election of yellow sheet John Rebholz would keep the County under the thumb of the Democrat Party.     Yellow Sheet Rebholz and nominal Republican Frankie Waters joined with the two Democrats, Jerry Langley and Ed Booth to install Frankie Waters as Chairman and Democrat Jerry Langley as Vice Chairman. For sure, Rebholz and Waters did not corral the two Democrat Votes without some kind of political deal having been made. What ever that deal is it will involve the spending of large amounts of money, possibly for a new jail.
