east coast in more than a decade batters the florida coast. matthew hitting the state with high winds and heavy rains, knocking out power for hundreds of thousands. scott says: ..we are still very concerned about storm surge and the worst effects are still likely to come. officials urging some two million people along the atlantic to move to safer ground. that includes folks in south carolina, where matthew is expected to bring high storm surges. quagliariello says: ..it doesn t matter that you don t have a beach front home you can be impacted by the storm surge well inland, you need t president obama declaring a state of emergency in florida, south carolina, and here in georgia, where the governor put the entire coast under evacuation orders. it s the first hurricane evacuation on the georgia coast since 19-99. obama says ..do not be a holdout here because we can always replace property, but we can t replace lives. on cam tag officials here in the south have been warnin
