Abigail Thompson – PHOTO IVCC OGLESBY – Abigail Thompson of McNabb, daughter of Sarah Morgensen and David Thompson, earned her associate’s in arts from Illinois Valley Community College May 22 while also receiving her high school diploma from Putnam County High School. Once Thompson completes summer courses at IVCC, she’ll also earn an associate’s in science. Thompson participated in National Honor Society and Interact Club at PCHS and was a member of Sigma Kappa Delta, the English Honor Society for two-year colleges. She will transfer to Bradley University to major in psychology with the hope of becoming a counseling psychologist.
