LISBON — Krystal M. Hart, 30, of Rensselaer Falls, and Jason R. Menard, 42, of Ogdensburg, were each charged by state police Monday with second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in Lisbon. Mr. Menard was additionally charged with a third count of possession, and Ms. Hart was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation. Stanley D. Stewart, 28, of Fine, was charged by state police Monday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in Edwards. Bruce D. McDonald, 37, of Massena, was charged by state police Monday with felony burglary in connection with a May 12 incident in the town of Louisville.

St Lawrence County grand jury activity for April

CANTON — The following grand jury indictments were handed up April 29 in St. Lawrence County Court: Timothy J. LaLonde, 43, of Ogdensburg, is charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving while ability impaired by drugs, both felonies, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor. The indictment charges on April 17 in Ogdensburg, Mr. LaLonde was driving with a suspended or revoked license while under the influence of drugs. The indictment further alleges he stole property in the city that day. John Farina, 55, of Gouverneur, is charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors.

Canton and Ogdensburg residents charged with meth possession in Lisbon

Thursday, December 10, 2020 - 5:39 pm LISBON Two people are facing meth possession charges after a traffic stop, and one of them is facing an additional weapons possession felony county. State troopers say around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, they pulled over a blue 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse on state Route 68 for having an inadequate exhaust. The driver, 46-year-old Bobby J. LaFave of Canton was found to have a suspended license, and was also in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, troopers allege. A passenger in LaFave’s vehicle, 42-year-old Jason R. Menard of Ogdensburg, was also allegedly found in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, and metal knuckles. Menard was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail, troopers said.

Menard, 42, of Ogdensburg, were each charged by state police Tuesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Route 68 in Lisbon. Police said they conducted the stop on a 2006 blue Mitsubishi Eclipse for having an inadequate exhaust. Mr. LaFave, the operator, was found to have a suspended license, and police allege he was in possession of an unspecified quantity of methamphetamine. Police allege Mr. Menard was also in possession of methamphetamine and metal knuckles. Mr. Menard was additionally charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, without bail.
