Obi-Wan Kenobi just added another star to its roster in the form of
Game of Thrones and
Luther actress Indira Varma. According to Deadline, the actress joins Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen in the
Star Wars prequel, though details about her character were obviously kept under wraps.
Varma is well known for her small screen roles in shows such as
Rome,
For Life. In
Game of Thrones she memorably played Ellaria Sand in that crazy Dorne subplot that effectively went nowhere. On the big screen, she has appeared in Ridley Scott’s

Star Wars related. In this case, the man gave a rather brief affirmative when asked if he would be willing to return as Jedi master Qui-Gon Jinn in the upcoming
Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series.
“Sure, I’d be up for that, yeah,” Neeson told Collider.
Yeah, it’s not much, but at the very least fans can rest assured Neeson would willingly don the Jedi garb once more to hang out with his long suffering apprentice on Tatooine. Disney, make it so.
