RAPID CITY, S.D. The Rapid City Police Department has arrested 68-year-old Raymond Andrzejewski of Rapid City on multiple criminal offenses following the investigation into a number of recent suspicious fires in the area of West Boulevard.
The joint RCPD/RCFD investigation into these incidents began after encountering several suspicious fires that took place in the winter of 2020. In the time since, both the RCPD and RCFD have invested hundreds of hours working to investigate the suspicious fires at a number of locations in the area.
On February 8, detectives approached Andrzejewski to ask him about the recent incidents.
RAPID CITY, S.D. The Rapid City Common Council has approved the purchase of a new truck, the formal name: “aerial fire apparatus.” There’s a ladder on top of the truck that allows for elevated water streams and rescues. This new model can also transport more and larger equipment that an average fire engine can not. RCFD is not sure.
