Her students even produced this video to try to convince the district the mascot is hurting their education. How can you do as well in anything when youre in a place that feels oppressive . Reporter students and alumni have mixed feelings. Some say their siblings graduated from san lorenzo high and grew up with the mascot so they want to keep the tradition. I dont see it as racist so i dont know why other people see it like that. Reporter also they say it would be very expensive to rebrand the entire school.
