Heavens Fury ($3.20) got sharp at the right time as the four-year-old mare captured the $30,822 Spring Up Series final for the trotters on Friday afternoon, June 7 at Buffalo Raceway with a resounding 1-1/2-length victory in 2:00.4 over the fast track.
The 'magical' streak continued on Wednesday afternoon (March 27) for Magical Mistress ($9.90) as she posted her fourth consecutive victory by taking the $18,919 Open Pace for the fillies and mares at Buffalo Raceway.
The horses lined up for the final time this winter at Batavia Downs on Monday and the card featured a $16,216 conditioned pace that was won by Ball Diamond, who claimed her second win of the year.
Robyn Mangiardi sent three horses to the track on Sunday, Oct. 29 at Saratoga Casino Hotel and all three returned to the winner's circle as victors in their respective classes.
