Cassens Fine Art in Hamilton will host an opening on Friday, May 3 from 5-7 p.m. for the exhibit of plein air works depicting Bitterroot Valley landscapes.
The Bitterroot Water Partnership and water-themed art will be the focus at the “Whispering Waters” opening night and artist reception at Cassens Fine Art on Feb. 2.
This holiday minis exhibition will feature the works of 19 renowned western artists showcasing one-of-a-kind paintings, each measuring 12x12 inches or smaller.
The exhibition will feature the works by plein air painters Jake Gaedtke, Richie Carter, Turner Vinson, Kenneth Yarus, Craig Birch, and Rick Kennington, created during an artist retreat in Browning.
For the past two weeks, artist David Bender has been sitting on The Brinton lawn, listening to the community s stories. And the results, he says, have been memorable and inspiring.
