Pg e said the plan would allow it to pay the victims and meet all the requirements of ab1054, the new state bill regulating public yutilities. The governor said the plan didnt focus on providing safe and reliable power. Thats the key there. Tonights decision is a major setback for pg e, as it races to meet a june deadline to get out of bankruptcy. In a statement, pg e says in part we just spoke with senator jerry hill. He said the governor made the right decision. Its the same old pg e, and we will not stand for that. He recognizes the problem, he recognizes that if we do not see the change thats necessary for pg e, through this bankruptcy, we will one, be back into bankruptcy in the next five to ten years, and two, we will not have a safe utility. Senator hill has been a longtime critic of pg e. He says the best outcome for pg e to make victims whole and protect rate payers going forward. The rain was on and off all day and will continue into the weekend. Lets check in with rob mayeda
Not a complete washout of a day. However, were not clear of the rain just yet. I want to take you what to expect. 51 degrees in San Francisco. Not too cold. Not too hot. And look at satellite radar. You can see the majority of it showing up on radar. A lot of cloud cover for us, and fresno and the monterey area, still getting showers and up through the sierra as well, getting a lot of rain and expecting to see more snow accumulations. Now, in through the afternoon, we still have another chance of showers, the reason for that is because we have another cold front, this one is pretty weak though, not expecting a high amount of accumulation, from the rain, it is going to move from north to south, so into the evening, around 4 00, 5 00, i will time this out for you a little bit better in terms of your city. We are going to be another round of showers, and as we head into the overnight hours, more heading in tomorrow, and that is going to bring an additional change into the workweek as well

Getting ready for some rain and i want to show you the forecast for the rest of the week. As you make plans, youll see waves of rain coming in late tonight into the north bay and the rest of the bay area for tomorrow morning. And then some more scattered showers early on thursday. Well also see some more rain coming in on sunday while our temperatures stay warm with upper 50s and low 60s. Well time it out hour by hour and thats coming up in a few minutes. Mike, youre giving me the thumbs up. How is it looking . The bay bridge toll plaza, look, the fast track lanes are moving well and hov lanes with no problem. Toll plaza itself and coming off the berkeley curve and the entrance off of 880, those are all slowing. 601 on a tuesday. Not bad. Mild slowing from walnut creek and also coming in out of rodeo and in from richmond. And that is a good drive. Good news, also, that tom jensen said that judah is open again. He is on that scene and updating us, as well. Were looking towards the rest
I want to thank the witnesses for taking the time for your thoughtful testimony. I want to thank the audience members. Im not sure why you are not over on the house side. It must be paid staff. I appreciate everyone coming here. The hearing title is unprecedented migration at the southern border, the year in review. I would like to start with the decade in review. I refer everybody to my chart. This is a chart i have been updating for the last 34 years. As long as you have been on the committee. It is important to lay out what the history has been. Certainly from my standpoint. Some key policy changes. I would argue they contributed to what i consider an ongoing crisis even though we have made some process progress. That chart reflects all minors and people coming to this country as family units. Earlier versions only focused on Central American children and family members. Initially, we had 3000, 4000 unaccompanied children. We werent even keeping track of families because it wasnt a
