We start with developing news from san leandro where firefighters are still at the scene of a major fire that damaged several businesses late last night. The fire broke out inside a building along east 14th at georgia way near the oakland border. Fire engulfed an upholstery store, quickly spreading to businesses next door including a popular san leandro jamaican restaurant called sweet fingers. The fire quickl grew to three alarms. Firefighters say the conditions were extremely challenging. They had a lot of obstacles as they went into the building and it is a lot of combustibles in the building, a heavy fire load, so the fire rapidly expanded on them and they had to pull back.
