A day after India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh gave a strong message to China on border tensions, the Chinese Defence Ministry on Friday described the situation on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) as "generally stable". Both sides should put the boundary issue in an “appropriate position”, it said.
