CAMP DECORAH, Wis. (WKBT) – Scouts in our area put their skills to the test.
Young girls who are part of several different troops within the BSA Gateway Area Council met for the first time at Camp Decorah Saturday.
They spent the sunny day celebrating females in scouting, while also taking part in some friendly competition.
And these girls proved they were up for the challenge.
They learned teamwork, leadership, and communication skills through activities including tent building, first aid, and a cooking competition.
But their busy day didn’t end there.
