SHORT HILLS, NJ Five Eagle Scouts from Scouts BSA Troop 19, chartered at St. Rose of Lima Church - Short Hills were celebrated by the Boy Scouts of America on Sunday night as members of the inaugural female Eagle class. The Be the Change virtual broadcast honored nearly one-thousand young women that achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, a rank that was only available to young men for the past 111 years.
The Troop 19 inaugural class of Eagle Scouts are Katelyn Cannon, Keira Lowden, Riya Tyagi, Bridget Lomax, and Morgan Lomax.
