We came back to check on it it was all out. As we left we noticed that we have a smoke column and it had taken off. Reporter cal fire was called in along with the livermore fire department. It took a while to knock it down. Crews were worried that the flames and embers would reach homes. A lot of the people in the homes were scared about it hopling over. Reporter crews want to make sure that the fire is out this time. This ended up being four acres. But there are snags, trees, river bottoms, that type of stuff. The mop up will be intense. Reporter some of the folks around here remember concerned about the homeless who live in this creek bed. They have no idea how this fire got started.
