Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was addressing the media ahead of a 10-day Hunar Haat the Centre's initiative to promote India's traditional crafts, cuisine and culture to be organised in Gujarat beginning Sunday.
The Ministry of Minority Affairs on Monday informed of the several schemes it has undertaken for the upliftment of the welfare and socio-economic empowerment of the six notified minority communities namely Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians, Jains and Parsis through its education empowerment schemes, skill development schemes and infrastructure development schemes.
The Hunar Haat also received the India International Trade Fair, 2021, silver medal for strengthening commitment to the vocal for local initiative and for its strong presence at the fair.
