News of an arrest is only some consolation for friends of Justin Valdez. His principal in Southern California said he over came obstacles. The fact that he was able to take ap classes and go straight to a university out of high school says a lot about who he was. Reporter i received a text from a friend of Justin Valdez who said there is a candlelight vigil at San Francisco state tomorrow at 7 00 p. M. Arrested on charges of having unlawful sex with a minor. The teacher is hugo guzman. And the police say they took him in for questioning this afternoon. After that interview, that is when they placed him under arrest with these charges. Now police are not saying if the minor was a student here at santa clara high. They are not even saying if it was one minor on several different occasions or if it was several different minors resulting in these charges. Now, Santa Clara High School did send a letter home with students, and in that letter they say he was placed on leave. Of course, he is on administrative leave, and innocent until proven guilty. And of course, police say if anybody has had contact with guzman or if they know anything about what happened, police are anxious to hear from them. Now as for what students are saying about all of this, we have been checking out twitter late this evening. And several different students tweeting their support for cortez guzman, saying they dont
