BW LNG said its newly delivered LNG carrier, BW Lesmes completed its maiden voyage and loaded its first cargo of the chilled fuel at Darwin LNG plant.

The vessel was delivered to the unit of the Singapore-based gas shipping giant BW Group at the end of last month.
Built at the South Korean shipyard Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), the 174,000-cbm tanker was named after the late LNG trading pioneer, Luis Lesmes.
It is fitted with a ME-GI dual-fuel two-stroke engine with full reliquefaction capabilities, BW LNG said in a brief statement through its social media channels.

China has reported sending the second Type 054A/P frigate to Pakistan . The innovatively progressed warship is required to upgrade Pakistan’s maritime protection and prevention/deterrence abilities altogether.
The event denotes the completion of 70 years of Pakistan-China conciliatory and diplomatic relations based upon outstanding obligations of fellowship and trust, as per an assertion the Pakistan Navy sent to the Global Times at almost the same time.

China has launched the Type-054A/P frigate, the second of four “most advanced” warships it is building for Pakistan, amid deepening defence and economic ties between the two allied nations, the Pakistan Navy said in a statement on Saturday.
Quoting Pakistan Navy The Times of India reported that Chinese state-owned Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard in Shanghai held the launching ceremony for the frigate, with Chief Naval Overseer (China) Commodore Azfar Humayun and senior Chinese officials in attendance.
