Incumbent Erika Randall lost her bid for re-election in a close, three-way race for two seats on the Park Rapids City Council. In Nevis, recently appointed council member Ryan Mathisrud lost to Blair Reuther and John Carrier. Menahga voters elected two new candidates for two open seats.
Hubbard County commissioners tabled a decision whether or not to apply for a 2022 ballot drop box grant. The funds would be used to implement security measures that are now required under state law.
