Set to expire august the first. A new report from working partnerships usa and the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley predicts a looming crisis when that happens. We predict and eviction time bomb of 43,000 evictions which is 16 times the normal rate we see in a typical year. Reporter this, in Silicon Valley where rents are among the highest in the nation and when the moratoriums and tenants will be asked to pay back rent too. Most of these low income tenants that have been unable, they have been unable to pay rent, they are going to struggle immensely to pay hundreds of dollars additional each month to be able to pay the back rent. Reporter the nonprofits say there needs to be action to extend the moratorium and to provide Legal Assistance and to get congress to act on rent relief. We see this crisis compounded what was already a very severe housing crisis.
