Talk to the viewers real quick. This is a thank you from me to you. You know youre family. You open your doors to us every morning. It was driven home to me over the last couple of weeks. You might not have known but we lost our dog two weeks ago, charlie. He has been with us for ten years. Somewhat sudden. It has been a hard couple of weeks. We havent been able to talk about it that much on television. I wanted to say thank you. I had dozens if not a hundred messages on facebook and instagram and i couldnt get to them all. I tried. I shared them with my children and my wife. We were overwhelmed. A lot sent poems and books of support. The outpouring helps us. It means a lot. Also to take a second, charlie was a shelter dog. He was a rescue. If you have an opportunity to rescue a dog. Do that. I know were going to get back into it. Some day. I dont know when the time is right. We came close on saturday. My wife is eager.
