We begin with a developing story out of costa rica where 12 people, 10 of them american tourists, were killed in a plane crash. The single engine charter plane went down in a wooded area shortly after takeoff. Among the americans on board, a family of five from suburban new york, identified as bruce and Irene Steinberg and their three sons. Horrified vacationers saw the plane go down and rushed to the wreckage to try to help.
