Received. Supervisor scott weiner if you are investigating whatever issue might be, how do you or can you find out if there have been other complaints or investigations by other departments either currently pending or three or 5 years ago whatever the case maybe, do you have a way to do that . We do not currently have a way to do that except by clearing the department directly by 311 or within our complaint tracking system with the department of building inspection, i can see whether electrical or building are working with a particular complaint. Other than that, with the system we are developing with the planning department, our new computerized system will let us know if we have a complaint or whether there is one in the department of planning. That system will not necessarily tell us what might be going on in the Fire Department or Health Department. Property owners might take notice. When we got the branding award, it gave other Property Owners that might behave in the same way pause. When we filed the lawsuit in the 600 units out there in the bayview area, i can tell you i had three other planned Unit Development file 1 million permits each to do compliance because they thought they were next. [inaudible] have a test for long time and also the [inaudible] electrical inspector didnt test for a long time so thats why i put those in the top priority. Meanwhile we are pushing ahead on the lease. Once they have the lease for last one or two years, then we will be continuing on all those tests. What is the timeframe on those . Do you have for being able to hire . Before hiring we need to post those and then the tests. For example, Senior Housing inspector wont be available you know, [inaudible]. Mmhm. They need to go through it and then have to test, then, you know, two to three months a piece. Great, thank you. Im 5e, update on Code Enforcements. Good morning commissioners. Daniel, [inaudible] inspector services. Before i begin the break down here id like to thank all the staff. Weve all been working very hard late
For the others. Okay. Next item. Item 12 b, update on proposed legislation. Bill sterns, commissioners, again i think weve gone through some of the Key Highlights already. Pat 36 already filled in on the seismic retrofitting. I would say as i understand it supervisor kim has come trailing legislation also tied to the retrofit on hardship through issues and that will help at the committee when at the board during the month of september. Im told the Land Use Committee and full board will probably approve those amendments relative to the board of examiners and some of those technical issues that mr. Roslyni just described to you. That will get approved in the next month. On our side i will say that we have now published through the reproduction office in english, cantonese and spanish an information borrow brochure on the retrofit program.
