In recent years the relationship between the city of santa clara and the 49ers could be described as adversarial at the best. Can sometimes it was just downright ugly. Now, these three newcomers to the city council say they are not in the 49ers back pocket, but they do say that they believe the voters want them to change the tone of the relationship between the city and the team. There was a perception of people are trying to buy a city council or by an election. Guy think that the people who know me and the people who have been following my career know that im not someone whos going to be bought by a team. Kevin park is found to bring independence to the santa clara city council, even while acknowledging that unseating incumbent Teresa Oneill represent a Seismic Shift in the balance of power.
