Matt, how are we looking. It is a wet start to saturday. We dont like to talk about the rain but we will have to it day. Tomorrow is pick of the weekend. It is an up and down for the next couple of 48 hours or so. If you are up early on this saturday morning look at this it is wet out there, so storm scan three is showing a few light showers, that are still making their way across the Delaware Valley. Right now better chance for that light precipitation to start off saturday is down near the shore points. Atlantic city back down through Cape May County, far southern Cape May County in cape may itself that is where we are starting to see, some of that light precipitation. Here across philadelphia it doesnt mean we will not be seeing any kind of rain, it just does still look like a few light showers here in philadelphia and few areas off to the north and west as well. And the its described as cat catastrophic in les cayes. And for our area, we have mandatory evacuations. And unc wilmington issued a mandatory evacuation for all students. All students must leave that campus by noon tomorrow, noon meterologists are getting whiplash trying to keep up with the hurricanes. Its been all over. It definitely has. We had a dramatic change overnight. And we are waiting for the next run to see if they continue along the track which will pull the storm away from North Carolina. Thats the only real change. It continues to hug the coast of florida and South Carolina and makes a dramatic turn to the right with the current forecast track. Cumberland and Harnett County schools will close two hours early today. Thousand are leaving their homes ahead of matthew and many ending up in North Carolina to ride out the storm. The latest information from the National Hurricane center, this is still a category 3 hurricane with wind and rain spreading across the east coast of florida. You can see orlando, Daytona Beach on 95 near port canaveral, cocoa beach area. Theyre seeing the worst of the weather right now, very feet there. Jacksonville, florida, and closer to savannah, georgia, southern portions of georgia already starting to see the wet weather. This is not associated with Hurricane Matthew yet. Reporter good morning. These wind and rains are really kicking in since 10 00 a. M. P. M. Have gone on all night long and will pretty much have them all day long. As you mentioned, the hurricane is off shore. Were still feeling 60mileper hour wind in parts of Volusia County where im standing. The good news is this hurricane apparently is not going to have the catastrophic impact initially feared. One side of that, for instance, the power is that maybe by now we wouldnt have power but, of course, obviously we do. There is a curfew in effect by this county that started last will go on until saturday morning. 3800 people are in shelters. By and large people did heed the mandatory order to evacuate. I did run into some holdouts, people that were going to ride out the storm in their homes. They thought they would roll right now, everything appears pretty good. People have their fingers crossed the storm will stay off shore and spare the east coast of florida, which is what everybody here wa
