Too many people get into this it looks like the highest chance of a major impact is well above miami, from about palm beach almost today to daytona beach. Winds are possible in that area. It is also possible they would extend that watch closer at some point. It still has 145 Miles Per Hour winds moving north at 10 Miles Per Hour. It has made land fall. It is about the worst possible track because its going over the least amount of land that would cause it to weaken the least amount. So more bad news there. It is about to cross over the eastern part of cuba and then possibly devastate the bahamas. All of our computer models these are hurricane models bending toward florida and then moving back out over hatteras but notice nothing inland. All of them agreeing that this is going to be hooking back out to sea. But there is a major change in the forecast. The National Hurricane center just put out the 5 00 oclock forecast, and we do have change to talk about. The storm a little bit slower in speed to the north at 9 miles an hour. Tragedy in philadelphias bustleton neighborhood. What can you tell us about the victims, pam . Neighbors say a husband and wife live in this home. They tell us they dropped their daughter off to college. Officials havent identified the victims yet but what they are telling us is that the bodies of a woman and man were pulled out of that home. Firefighters got the call just before midnight. When they arrived they found the house in flames. Firefighters entered the home, recovered the two victims and immediately began cpr but it was too late. It took crews about 35 minutes to get the fire out. At some point there was an emergency evacuation ordered because of an odor of gas. The gas company responded as well. There was a minor gas cap gas leak, rather, that was capped. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. So Officials Say its far too soon to determine what connection, if any, that gas leak had to the fire.
