Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation's Racial Equity Fund gave almost $436,000 in funding to support local organizations that are led by and serve the region's BIPOC community. CBC KW spoke to five organizations about how the funding will help the people they work with.
Local musicians receive create and connect grants to support them during pandemic
Fourteen musicians will receive $1,000 each from a new create and connect grant aimed at helping them feel inspired and supported during the pandemic. The money for the grants comes from Centre in the Square and the City of Kitchener.
