For the first time ever, the Waterloo Region District School Board held Asian Heritage Day. The event on Thursday at Eastwood Collegiate Institute in Kitchener brought together students with local Asian musicians and performers.

Local musicians receive create and connect grants to support them during pandemic
Fourteen musicians will receive $1,000 each from a new create and connect grant aimed at helping them feel inspired and supported during the pandemic. The money for the grants comes from Centre in the Square and the City of Kitchener.
