JOLIET, IL One of the drivers involved a deadly Joliet shootout involving two cars in the 200 block of Republic Avenue has worked out a plea bargain with the Will County State s Attorney s Office of James Glasgow. On Wednesday, 23-year-old Joliet resident Javontae Gray pleaded guilty to the felony crime of obstruction of justice.
Gray was sentenced to two years at the Illinois Department of Corrections and given credit for 476 days of time already served at the Will County Jail.

Bre Gana Walker shoved a man down a flight of stairs during an argument and she kicked him in the face.
The man was taken by ambulance to the nearby AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center. The extent of the man s injuries were unclear from the Joliet police news release.

JOLIET, IL Two people were killed around 2:45 a.m. Monday when the driver of a sedan missed a curve in the roadway on Jefferson Street near Raynor Avenue. The car slammed into a tree and split in half, according to a Joliet Police Department news release.
The Will County Coroner s Office announced that one of the victims has been identified as 31-year-old Jonathan Bundley of Chicago. The second fatality victim was William Burke III, a 55-year-old Chicago man, the coroner announced.
