JOLIET, IL Two people were killed around 2:45 a.m. Monday when the driver of a sedan missed a curve in the roadway on Jefferson Street near Raynor Avenue. The car slammed into a tree and split in half, according to a Joliet Police Department news release.
The Will County Coroner s Office announced that one of the victims has been identified as 31-year-old Jonathan Bundley of Chicago. The second fatality victim was William Burke III, a 55-year-old Chicago man, the coroner announced.

JOLIET, IL A 28-year-old Joliet man attacked a woman, threatening to kill her as he choked her, forced her head into a wall and kitchen table in the 300 block of Wheeler Avenue on Wednesday night, according to Joliet police.
