When a resident of San Francisco is looking for health care, you look in your neighborhood first. What is closest to you . If you come to a Neighborhood Health center or a clinic, you then have access it a system of care in the Community Health network. We are a system of care that was probably based on the Family Practice model, but it was really clear that there are special populations with special needs. The cole street clinic is a youth clinic in the heart of the Haight Ashbury and they target youth. Tom woodell takes care of many of the central City Residents and they have great expertise in providing services for many of the homeless. Potrero hill and Southeast Health centers are Health Centers in those particular communities that are family Health Centers, so they provide health care to patients across the age span. Many of our clients are working poor. They pay their taxes. They may run into a rough patch now and then and what were able to provide is a bridge towards getting th
Take advantage of this change. That is the intent. I think were all on the same page. That was our legal understanding and we thought the city attorneys understanding also. That is what we hope to do with this. Mr. Chair at this time i think its best to move this forward and pass it out of choice. We wont be passing this out of committee today because of amendments. Im sorry i missioned missed the comment . The way it is there is language in a says that the employee has to make the decision by january 1,2015 and this was learly for employees clearly that shows that they are not currently a City Employee and this is for folks still in limbo that can make the transition now is our understanding. The Charter Amendment as currently drafted does not exactly reflect that. The Charter Amendment we could amend it to clarify that it is intended to cover employees who became City Employee after february 1, 2012 afterthe Redevelopment Agency dissolved. We keep talking about 38. I dont think the R
Have a 33 million gap to fill in the second year of our budget and well likely have a gap in the next two years. We have plenty of time between now and fiscal year to work with the board the Mayors Office to figure out how to best close that gap, and thats what i would recommend. And im going to be supportive of moving the bond forward today. It has to sit for a week, is that right . But i did have questions and i know many others would like to know, one is there are a number of projects within the dlf funds allegations that are bond eligible and the question is, is this bond flexible enough to accommodate those dlf projects and how deeply can we search for projects like cal trans like mel assessment district for downtown and they pay their fair share given that theyll benefit from the transit improvements in the Transit Center area. Number three, what commitments can the mta and the mayor can back field the gaps by the blf given the mayor stated support. Lastly, ill do my best that my
Inspection. Commissioner riley . Yes, thank you. Do you have a clear definition of point of sale . Because when we were [speaker not understood] legislation four years ago, we were thinking about safeway and key stores, we werent thinking about small mom and pop grocery stores. He well, from what i got was the i think its was the second or third slide that point of sale stations, which is the point of sale systems, shall include a [speaker not understood] that uses universal product code scanner, price lookup codes r, or any other system that relies on retrieval of of electronically stored information to complete a transaction ~ and thats where it gets broad, i guess, on that last point because it just yeah, what is that looking at the electronically stored information. But thats the definition it gives at the state level and the local level. So, thats what we have to work with. It doesnt include restaurants, too, right . Yeah. Because now when you go to restaurant, they key in whateve
Two hour session. I guess we have to approve the credential report. No [inaudible] okay. All right. Okay. Questions to commissioner sanchez . We should note here i think also that San Francisco general did undergo its cal survey process with the joint commission and we were informed that the hospital will remain fully accredited and a number of items recorded for corrective action like normally there is, but the surveyor at the conference did announce we will have full accreditation so congratulations to sf general for that work. Do we have oh next item. Yes. Item 13 is the Committee Agenda setting. Okay. Any further items for this except to remind you the next meeting is the planning meeting and we have a number of items we hope that will be worth while for discussion.
