Quinto died after being forcibly restrained by Antioch Police in 2020. Police were called to the home on reports of a family argument, but quintos relatives say it should have been clear he was suffering a Mental Health crisis. The suit claimed that while restraining him, police put their knee on his neck and he stopped breathing. He died days later, the family notes, since his death, theyve pushed for major reforms in how Police Respond to similar calls. T

A pedestrian is dead after being hit by 2 vehicles in oakland last night. Police now confirming to us one of the cars involved was stolen. This happened near international boulevard and 54th avenue around 9. 30, investigators say the pedestrian was hit while while crossing the street. The impact pushed them further into the roadway where they were hit by a second vehicle. The people inside the first car involved abandoned it and ran off.
