Propalestinian protest on campus, quote, escalated, Law Enforcement officers moved on to the irvine campus this afternoon. Youre looking at live pictures now from the scene. Officials say demonstrators have blocked the entrance to the physical sciences building. According to our sister station in la, Law Enforcement has declared an unlawful assembly. You can see all the police there. They are forming a line a thick line to hold the protesters back. And we have seen a few people being detained. Also. We have seen the protesters shouting at the officers. But again, youre looking at live pictures right now of essentially a face off between protesters at uc irvine and Law Enforcement. Gate. So things out there today are noticeably a little more enhanced than they were yesterday, which is giving us a cooling effect in our temperatures. Just take a look at this view from mount tam yesterday. Youre looking down at a very thin veil of that marine layer today. Its very thick. Its going to take a lot longer to burn off and it is pushing right through the golden gate. The carquinez into the delta having our biggest cooling effect actually in some of those for this to inland areas that resulted in a lot of mist and drizzle. In the meantime, closer to the coast to the Berkeley Hills spots like that right now, winds as much as 40 Miles Per Hour, especially out into the delta and through the golden gate. So watch for some of those stronger gusts this morning. Now temperatures are in the mid 50s currently oaklandalameda redwood city at 56 berkeley and San Francisco at 54 right now. They are vandalizing an unsafe, boarded up, fire damaged building next to peoples park. We have confirmed that the coalition with whom we reached out reached an understanding with yesterday, did not initiate todays actions. Now, one other thing i do want to mention is when we got on the scene here, we saw probably 4 or 5 chp cars with their sirens on screaming up this block.
