We have an accident on the southbound side of merrick parkway near exit 31. It is still being cleared and expect some delays. You can see a little delay building as you go in through that spot. If then on the cross county parkway going westbound, just west of the hutchenson river parkway. Another accident is being cleared. Now going into norrisburg and tunnel e. Avenue, check out the red line of volume right there. Once you pass that that delay continues up into 495 which of course is road that leads you to the lincoln tunnel. It was spraying into the area gushing at least 8 feet or so. If you take a look at the building across the street, that is a mixed Residential Commercial building. Fire Officials Say that building was partially evacuated. That first floor is all commercial, those Business Owners were all taken out of there as you can imagine theres probably quite a bit of water damage inside there, and the electricity has been shut off because there are power lines in the cellar. If you look at the roof of that building, those residents are just hanging out because fire Officials Say they were not evacuated so theyre just going to wait this out. If you look down it may be hard to see with this fire truck. On the ground level you can get a sense of how deep this water is by looking at those trash cans and how high that water has come up there. Again, were on queens boulevard.
