Back over to you guys. San jose police are investigating the shooting of a suspected robber by a Security Guard at a downtown drug store. It happened just before 8 30 last night at the walgreens store on south first and east santa clara streets. Officers were called to the scene and arrived to find a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He is hospitalized with life threatening injuries. And there were several witnesses that do say they witnessed the security shoot him and that the security was attacked by the suspect. The s. J. P. D. Says the Security Guard is cooperating with the investigation. The shooting shut down santa clara street between market and send second streets for a couple of hours last night. The San Francisco Police Officer who was the target of a criminal investigation killed himself after a traffic stop.
