The University of Minnesota Extension provides a wide range of programming for Kandiyohi County residents, including 4-H, Master Gardeners and training for agriculture professionals.
The Joint Powers Board of the Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic Development Commission unanimously approved the name change during a special meeting Monday, Nov. 20.
The filing period for candidates running for elected office opened on Tuesday. There are already a handful of candidates that have filed for open offices in Kandiyohi County and Willmar, as well as Minnesota House District 16B.
