I tried to open all the hoses with water, but the fire just started to my face. So my neighbors said you cannot stay there so they pulled me out. Other neighbors grabbed hoses and did what they could to try to stop the flames. This is video provided by the fire department. What caused the original fire is unknown. A crash on an east bay freeway left a truck drive badly burned. We show the charred remains of a big rig that caught on fight on interstate 580. From the valley fire has been weve been talking about. While many are tired and weary, this community has come together to help out their neighbors. As we go to video now, an estimated 1,000 people are here at fairgrounds. Many camped out in tents. Others are slipping in motor homes. And others are use their car as shelter. They are simply awaiting word. One is their home Still Standing . And two, when will they be allowed to return to their neighborhoods . Two questions we hope to have answer for later this morning.
