Shravan Rathod, one half of the musical duo, died Thursday night at Mumbai’s SL Raheja hospital from Covid-related complications. He died at the age of 66 years.

The soundtrack for a sweet romance between a model and a club singer sold 20 million copies, making it the best-selling Bollywood soundtrack of all time and solidifying the careers of music composer duo Nadeem-Shravan.
Nadeem-Shravan compositions, which were crooned by Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal, brought melody back into the game. The melody struck a chord with me.
