Because we are in essence gathered to celebrate the first wellwritten, comprehensive narrative about Plymouth Colony in over 50 years. Three key words. One, well written. But what i really love is that even though the book is entitled the mayflower, this cover does not put the mayflower front and center. It does not show a ship tossed by waves. That would be the expected adventure story.
