Of the people who died was a local dj name dj peanut. Our betty yu spoke with a friend who said peanut wanted to make oakland a better place. Reporter this is just one example of oakland dj peanuts giving spirit. His friend said that he drove to skid row in l. A. During the pandemic and bought 500 blankets to donate. Early sunday morning, friends identified him as the young man who was shot right before being hit by a car on 14th street in downtown oakland.
