Challenging day of technical glitches for the worlds large effort Stock Exchange, and one of the worlds large effort airlines. Trading at the New York Stock Exchange was suspended for several hours and United Airlines had to ground flights for a short time because of computer problems. Leaselisa stark joins us from washington and what do we know about these glitches . Well, tony, as you can expect the first concern is was this some sort of coordinated cyber attack . Thankfully, it was not and it was internal problems with the Computer Systems and that was the word today from the secretary of homeland security, who was speaking on a forum on Cyber Security. Ive spoken to the ceo of united, and it appears from what we know at this stage that the malfunctions and united and the Stock Exchange were not the result of any nefarious actor.
