I personally love the mega jobs. I think theyre a lot of fun. I like being part of a build that is bigger than myself and outlast me and make a mark on a landscape or industry. We do a lot of the big sexy jobs, the stacked towers, Transit Center, a lot of the note worthy projects. Im Second Generation construction. My dad was in it and for me it just felt right. I was about 16 when i first started drafting home plans for people and working my way through college. In college i became a project engineer on the job, replacing others who were there previously and took over for them. The Transit Center project is about a million square feet. The entire floor is for commuter buses to come in and drop off, there will be five and a half acre city park accessible to everyone. It has an amputheater and water marsh that will filter it through to use it for landscaping. Bay area council is big here in the area, and they have a gender equity group. En. I have four good Success Stories via e. M. S. 6, but ill read you the last two. We had a 46yearold male with alcohol history who completed treatment and is now in a step down unit. In 2018, he had 105 sffd transports, and in the previous 12 months, he has had 88 transports. E. M. S. 6 shepherded this person through treatment and he has not used alcohol since june of this year. Also, a 66yearold with chronic medical condition showed a rapid decline over the last three years as showed in this ambulance indication. E. M. S. 6 placed him in the Navigation Center and assisted him with Housing Assessment and application and helped get his documentation ready. He is now housed and reconnected with his children. Prevent institutionalization. The modification we are requesting today for the provision of the monthly subsidies and moverelated costs for Public Guardian and conservators. Under the department of aging and Adult Services the office serves at the courtappointed conservator of vulnerable individuals and estates. Due to declining health, some of these individuals are marginally housed for prolonged periods of time while waiting for appropriate housing option. This funding will be used to help them attain or be placed in a safe and stable home such as assisted living, supported housing or similar housing. Those served must meet the c. L. F. And pg criteria. We will provide administration while the p. G. Office is Program Support including Case Management, in person visits, monthly approval of the housing subsidies and other activities to ensure the equitable access and appropriate use of the funds. We have this huge uptick of narcan distribution. What percentage are fentanyl based and what percentage are heroin based and do you track the reason for the overdose or the cause . So if i may interject, when we give someone narcan, and it reverses the overdose, we know its an opioid, okay . We dont necessarily know if its fentanyl or heroin or what it is. So we dont run a test to figure that out typically, so that may be done at the hospital. But what we can say sort of anecdotally. But what we can say is the use of narcan by our members has gone up, and i know the Health Department has put a lot of narcan on the streets in the hands of f
