Thats according to numbers obtained by the chronicle which shows Oakland Police made about 68,000 stops in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, the number went down to 49,000. In 2011, another huge drop to about 25,000. And by the end of this year, the projected number of police stops in oakland will be 15,733.
