ONGC Videsh s LNG project in Mozambique has been put on hold

The state-run oil major said that ONGC Videsh consortium has put LNG project in Mozambique on hold due to force majeure. Considering the evolution of the security situation in the north of the Cabo Delgado province in Mozambique, the Area 1 Operator Total E&P Mozambique Area 1 Limitada informed the withdrawal of all Mozambique LNG project personnel from the Afungi site. Thissituation leads Total E&P Mozambique Area 1 Limitada, as operator of Mozambique LNG project, to declare force majeure, ONGC said in a statement. ONGC Videsh, wholly-owned subsidiary and overseas arm of ONGC, holds 16% Participating Interest (PI) in the Area 1 concession through its subsidiaries ONGC Videsh Rovuma (OVRL) and Beas Rovuma Energy Mozambique (BREML).

IRCTC temporarily suspends operations of two Tejas Express

Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation on Monday announced further suspension of Ahemdabad Mumbai Tejas Express and Lucknow New Delhi Tejas Express amid rising COVID-19 cases. Earlier this month, IRCTC had informed regarding temporary suspension of operation of Ahemdabad Mumbai Tejas Express for a period of one month, with effect from 2 April 2021. ln this context, IRCTC further informed that due to rise in COVID infection in state of Maharashtra and Gujarat, and travel related restrictions, suspension of Tejas Express is further extended till 31 May 2021. On 7 April 2021 IRCTC informed regarding temporary discontinuation of the services for Lucknow New Delhi Tejas Express from 9 April to 30 April 2021. The company has now informed that due to rise in case of COVID-19 infection in the country and travel related restrictions; operation of the train is being suspended till further advice.

Rites declares 2nd interim dividend of Rs 4 per share

The record date for the dividend is set on 20 March 2021.The board of Rites, an infrastructure consultancy and engineering company, has declared a second interim dividend of Rs 4 per share on the share with face value of Rs 10 each. The record date for the purpose of payment of dividend is 20 March 2021. The second interim dividend brings the company s total dividend for FY21 so far, to Rs 9 per share, amounting to Rs 216.27 crore. Further, the company informed that its standalone revenue for the nine months of FY21 has been Rs 1,315 crore and profit after tax has been Rs 290 crore. Meanwhile, the company said it has commenced the export shipments to Sri Lanka and Mozambique. The 10 railway passenger coaches has been successfully delivered to Sri Lanka and first shipment of two 3,000 HP Cape Gauge AC-AC locomotives has been flagged off to Mozambique, it added in a statement issued after market hours yesterday, 12 March 2021.
