New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive the CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award, and deliver a keynote address around 7 pm at the Cambridge Energy Research Associates Week (CERAWeek) 2021 via video conferencing here on Friday (March 5), according to an official release by the PMO.

This award recognises environmental leadership. It is commonly said that the best way to show is through action. There s no doubt that when it comes to caring for the environment, the people of India are the leaders, and it has been the case for centuries. the Prime Minister said while delivering the keynote address at the award ceremony via video-conferencing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award on Friday (March 3) evening. The event was virtual, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Prime Minister delivered a keynote address at the Cambridge Energy Research Associates Week (CERAWeek) 2021 via video conferencing.

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday was conferred with the Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award by the Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA).
The PM dedicated the award to the people of our great motherland India. I dedicate this award to the glorious tradition of our land that has shown the way when it comes to caring for the environment, said the PM accepting the award.
Delivering the keynote address at the CERAWeek 2021 via video conferencing, the PM said that while climate change and calamities are major challenges today, fighting them with behavioural change is important.
