i do want to especially thank president trump. i don t think anybody should doubt his influence. he was with me from the beginning. somebody wrote that out when he was there, and he was all in. given mccarthy maybe the speaker, but this is donald trump south. it s built on the back of trump republican acolytes whose job depends on the support of trump s own base. the dynamics that were on display during the four-day speakership battle have continued to play out in six months since. chaos caucus republicans, many of whom are trump loyalists, and some of whom participated in the attempt to deny mccarthy the speakership, brought the entire country to the brink of economic default just a few weeks ago. and encouraged by trump to stonewall efforts to reach a deal on the debt limit. but mccarthy s speakership so far will likely be remembered for republicans many efforts to avenge donald trump to take action against his critics, and to rewrite the narrative of his first presiden

hello and welcome to the programme. tyre nichols, was a 29 year old black man. a father, a fedex employee, a keen skateboarder. three weeks ago, he was pulled over by the memphis police on suspicion of reckless driving. there was a confrontation after which tyre fled. and what happened next defies belief. five memphis police officers, who are also black, chased him down just 80 yards short of his mother s front door, they beat tyre so badly that, three days later, he died from his injuries. i am going to show you a picture of what tyre looked like before he died. just a warning it is hard to look at. the coroner said he had suffered excessive bleeding caused by a severe beating . the family have been shown the body cam footage. while each of the five individuals played a different role in the incident in question, the actions of all of them resulted in the death of tyre nichols, and they are all responsible. reverend al sharpton has spoken with the family and will deliver th
i m thinking of the house republicans and the grateful dead if you plant ice you will harvest wind, which is one of those lines that could mean anything, but sometimes what it means to me at least is, yeah, you put stuff in the ground that is not a seed, that is not meant to grow, it s not going to work with the surrounding environment. what are you going to get? and i was watching your coverage and thinking what you said that this is what they want. how do you negotiate with someone for a solution when the actual think they would quote, negotiate for is no solution? is what they re getting. i m glad you went back toest because republicans frankly fewer and fewer used to call me during the trump years. what do you want from us? we said grab them in the bleep wasn t ideal but you re still for him, you re still helping him beat his opponent who s a better choice, who isn t a threat to national security which all republicans are knew believed he was. so the bet was always to
