Chandigarh: Punjab State Subordinate Service Selection Board would conduct written examination for 1152 posts of Revenue Patwari, Canal Patwari and Zilledar on 2nd May, 2021.
Disclosing this here today, Chairman of the Board Mr. Raman Bahl said that two lakh thirty four thousand candidates have applied for these 1152 posts. The recruitment process will be completed in two phases. He said that examination of all eligible candidates would be held in first phase. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday announced an ‘Open-Ended Mini Bus Permit Policy’, with no deadline for rural youth to apply for such a permit, while laying foundation stones of Rs 55.16 crore worth of high-tech State Transport Department institutes, including home delivery of driving licences.
The Chief Minister also virtually launched distribution of 3000 mini bus permits for the rural youth to give a boost to the ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar te Karobar’ mission, with token presentation of permits to 5 beneficiaries. He said that while 3000 permits were being handed over today, while another 8000 would follow through the rest of the year, taking the total to be distributed by the end of the year to 11000, generating both direct and indirect employ

The government of Punjab has started a Foreign study and placement cell under Punjab Ghar Ghar Rozgar and Karobar Mission (PGRKAM). The department will provide free counselling to all the interested candidates.
The registration link will be active from February 21 to 25, 2021.
Interested candidates can register themselves by filling a google form online from February 21 to February 25. Registration link.
The candidates will have to provide all the details like their name, PGRKM registration number, mobile number, email-id, and postal address, etc.

PATIALA: Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh on Tuesday virtually kicked off a slew of development projects worth Rs 213.37 crore on the 72nd Republic Day.
The projects include an initiative for rejuvenation of Badi Nadi and Chhoti Nadi, being implemented by the Patiala Urban Planning and Development Authority, at a cost of Rs 208.33 crore besides revival of historic Rajindra Lake at Rs 5.04 crore, a government statement said here.
The rejuvenation project of Badi and Chotti Nadi, which commenced on October 22, 2020, would be completed within 24 months. The project is being jointly executed by the Patiala Urban Planning and development authority, Water Resources department and Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
