She explained that the conflict, while not widely known, is significant because it was the first major battle west of the mississippi river. He spent his career interpreting and preserving American Military history with the National Park service, the new york state government, Rensselaer County historical society, the Civil War Preservation trust, kentucky state parks and the u. S. Army. Do you think he is qualified to speak . He has written and spoken on various aspects of military history and leadership from 1775 to the present.
